IFS Oilfield Connect Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 18, 2026
This policy explains what information the IFS Oilfield Connect mobile app ("the app") handles, why, and what choices you have. The app is provided by Integrated Field Solutions LLC ("IFS", "we"), 4060 Faudree Rd STE 104A201, Odessa, TX 79765, USA.
Who the app is for
The app is for people whose employer has set them up with an IFS account, such as oil-company staff and hauling-company staff who use IFS systems. There is no public sign-up. You cannot use the app without an account created for you, and the app is not intended for anyone under 18.
What the app does
- Links your phone to your IFS account by scanning a code shown in the IFS Portal.
- Shows a 6-digit sign-in code that changes every 30 seconds.
- Lets you approve or deny a sign-in to your IFS account from a notification on your phone.
Information the app handles
- Account details: your name and email address, as set up in your IFS account, so the app can show which account it is linked to.
- Device security keys: when you link your phone, the app creates security keys inside your phone's secure hardware. The private keys never leave your phone. We keep only the matching public keys, which let us confirm that a request really came from your phone.
- Device information: the phone's model name and platform (Android or iOS), when it was linked and when it was last used, so you and your administrator can see which phone is linked.
- Push notification token: an identifier from Google (Android) or Apple (iOS) that lets us send sign-in notifications to your phone.
- Sign-in request details: when someone tries to sign in to your IFS account, the app shows you the application, IP address, browser and time of that attempt so you can decide whether to approve it. Your answer (approve or deny) is recorded.
- Sign-in code secret: the secret that generates your 6-digit code is stored only on your phone, in encrypted storage.
The app does not show advertising, does not use advertising or analytics tracking, and does not access your contacts, photos, files, microphone or location. Scanning a link code uses Google's code scanner, which returns only the scanned code to the app.
How we use it
We use this information only to sign you in securely, to protect your account from people who are not you, and to keep a security record of sign-in events and phone links. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for marketing.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that run the service for us, and only as needed to do so:
- Microsoft Azure, which hosts IFS systems and delivers notifications (Azure Notification Hubs);
- Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging) on Android, and Apple (Apple Push Notification service) on iOS, which carry notifications to your phone. Notifications contain no account details, only a reference that tells the app to fetch the request securely.
Your employer's IFS administrators can see which phone is linked to your account, and can unlink it. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Security
Everything the app sends or receives travels over encrypted connections, and the content of each request is additionally encrypted end to end between your phone and IFS, so the services that carry it cannot read it. Keys on your phone are held in its secure hardware.
How long we keep it
Your phone's link and keys are kept while your phone is linked and removed when it is unlinked. Records of sign-in events are kept for security purposes for 3 years. Information stored on your phone is removed when you uninstall the app.
Your choices, and deleting your data
- You can unlink your phone at any time in the IFS Portal, or ask your administrator to do it.
- You can turn off notifications for the app in your phone's settings; you can still sign in with your 6-digit code.
- To ask what information we hold about you, or to have your account and its data deleted, email app@integratedwtx.com. Because your account is set up by your employer, we may need to confirm the request with them.
People in the European Union and the United Kingdom
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the UK GDPR applies to the information described above.
- Controller: Integrated Field Solutions LLC, at the address below, is responsible for this information. Contact: app@integratedwtx.com.
- Legal bases: we process this information to provide the sign-in service that your employer has arranged with IFS (performance of a contract, or our and your employer's legitimate interest in providing it), and to keep accounts secure and prevent misuse (legitimate interests). We keep sign-in records where needed to meet legal obligations.
- Your rights: you may ask for access to your information, and ask us to correct, delete or restrict it, to object to how we use it, or to receive it in a portable form. Email app@integratedwtx.com. We will answer within one month.

- Transfers outside the EU and UK: IFS is based in the United States, and our service providers (Microsoft, Google and Apple) process information in the United States and elsewhere. These transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and its UK extension, under which these providers are certified, or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
